Tanner: I'm watching Word World and I'm thinking.
Mommy: What are you thinking about?
Tanner: If my Mommy and Daddy aren't with me and so I can repeat after them while they read me a book. I can figure the words out and repeat after myself.
Mommy: So you want to work on learning how to read?
Tanner: Yep, that's that plan.
Addie: Daddy, I have a question.
Daddy: What darling?
Addie: Ummmmmmmmm, please have a snack please?
Daddy: I can't get it for you while I am driving, but Mommy can.
Addie: Mommy, I have a question.
Mommy: What sweetheart?
Addie: Ummmmmmmmm, please have a snack please?
Mommy: Sure, honey.
Tanner: I have and even better question.
Mommy and Daddy: What's that Tanner?
Tanner: How do GPS systems work?
When I picked Tanner up at school yesterday, I found this book in his cubby. The contents melted my heart. His teacher copied down his answers exactly as he dictated them. Oh, how I love this boy.
In 2005, our world got a little bit noisier and a whole lot more amazing, when our son, Tanner was born. Eventually he started saying hilarious and adorable things and we wrote them down in a book and included them in our weekly "Happy Friday" emails to family and friends. Then we thought it would be fun to have an online record of his little quotes and quips. His favorite question around that time was "What's that noise?" hence the title of our blog. 2007 brought another noisemaker to our family in the form of our spunky little girl, Addison. She was born screaming, so we knew she would fit right in. We hope you find as much amusement as we do in the constant noise that seems to be the norm in our home.
