Tanner has a special little friend at school. Here are a few snippets of conversations we have had about little Anna*.

Grandma Judy: Tanner who are your friends at school? 

Tanner: My very best friend in the whole world is Anna. 

Grandma Judy: Oh, what do you like about her?

Tanner: She's nice and she has a pretty lookin' face.

Tanner: Mommy, I want to put this silver color crayon in Anna's heart crayon for Valentine's Day.

Mommy: Oh, why's that honey?

Tanner: Cuz she is is my best friend in the whole world.

Mommy: What makes her your best friend. 

Tanner: Well, I just really like her. I can't explain it Mom. She is just my favorite and she is pretty lookin'. I want to marry someone who is a pretty lookin' girl.

Tanner: Mommy, can you believe that Anna came to this place today? I am so happy she is here.

Tanner's teacher has also informed me that Tanner has decided that at the end of the day all of the kids in his class need to hug goodbye. He now announces this everyday and goes straight to Anna for his very first hug.
