Tanner: Mommy, how can you make people love other people?
Mommy: You can't make people love others. Everyone makes their own choice about who they love.
Tanner: Well, I can make people love others with my love machine.
Mommy: Really? How does your love machine work?
Tanner: Well, it shoots hearts everywhere and makes everyone love everyone the most in the whole world.
Mommy: When did you invent that?
Tanner: Ummm, about 13 years before I got married to Konica.*
*Konica is Tanner's imaginary wife who he discovered back in August '09. In case you were wondering, she has blonde hair and blue eyes, is four years old, and weighs 9 pounds. She is Tanner's height and she lives in California. He frequently talks to her on the telephone, but we (his parents) have yet to meet her. When asked if she is real or imaginary Tanner's response is. "She is real. We just don't see her. She lives in California, but it takes 3 hours to get to her house."
