Funky Dance

Teacher: Okay Tanner. Since you are our calendar helper and today is the 27th, you get to decide what our class is going to do twenty-seven times. Are we going to clap our hands, stomp our feet, tap our shoulders, or what are we going to do?

Tanner: Okay. We are gonna do something that is super silliness. We are gonna do a funky dance!

Teacher: Can you show us the funky dance? Stand up everyone and lets do a funky dance 27 times.

Entire class of four year olds stand up and proceed to do 27 funky dance moves. I was able to witness the hilariousness since I was the room helper today.

In 2005, our world got a little bit noisier and a whole lot more amazing, when our son, Tanner was born. Eventually he started saying hilarious and adorable things and we wrote them down in a book and included them in our weekly "Happy Friday" emails to family and friends. Then we thought it would be fun to have an online record of his little quotes and quips. His favorite question around that time was "What's that noise?" hence the title of our blog. 2007 brought another noisemaker to our family in the form of our spunky little girl, Addison. She was born screaming, so we knew she would fit right in. We hope you find as much amusement as we do in the constant noise that seems to be the norm in our home.
